Seoriful Administrative Office (the "Office") operates UpdateVisa (updatevisa.com) and establishes this Privacy Policy under the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea to protect your personal information and handle related requests promptly.
1. Purposes of processing
- Receiving, verifying and responding to online consultation requests
- Providing guidance and services that match your inquiry
- Preventing spam and misuse, and improving the website through visitor statistics
2. Personal information processed
- Required: name, email, service area, inquiry details
- Optional: contact number (phone or messenger)
- Collected automatically: IP address (for spam prevention, kept only temporarily as a hashed value), cookies, and usage records such as pages visited, device and browser information
3. Retention period
- Consultation requests: one year after the consultation ends, unless a longer period is required by law
- Website statistics (Google Analytics): 14 months from collection
4. Provision to third parties
- The Office does not provide personal information to third parties except with your separate consent or where specifically required by law.
- If your inquiry requires another professional (e.g., tax accountant or labor attorney), we will tell you the recipient, purpose, items and retention period and obtain your consent in advance.
5. Outsourcing of processing
- Processor: Cafe24 Corp. — website hosting and server operation (including storage of consultation requests)
- Our agreement requires the processor to safeguard personal information.
6. Transfer of personal information overseas
- Recipient: Google LLC (contact: https://support.google.com/analytics)
- Countries: the United States and other countries where Google operates data centers
- Items: cookie identifiers, pages visited, device and browser information, approximate location based on IP
- When and how: transmitted over the network when you visit the website
- Purpose and retention: website visitor statistics / 14 months from collection
- How to refuse: block cookies as described in section 7 or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Refusing does not limit your use of the website.
7. Cookies: installation, operation and refusal
- We use cookies to analyze visitor statistics. A cookie is a small text file a website sends to your browser.

8. Destruction

13. Changes
- This Privacy Policy applies from October 9, 2026. Any changes will be announced on this website. If translations differ, the Korean version prevails.
