The starting point for a D-8 (corporate investment) visa is KRW 100 million or more per foreign investor. To qualify as foreign investment under the Foreign Investment Promotion Act, you must invest at least KRW 100 million and hold at least 10% of the voting shares. However, KRW 100 million is only the minimum—investing that amount alone does not guarantee a visa.
